New Home Sales Jumps In September
Developers sold 1,270 new private residential units (excluding executive condos) in the month of September, increasing 13.1% m-o-m compared to the 1,123 units sold in August.
Despite the increase, the market is also faced with sufficient supply and will dampen huge unrealistic price growth. This is good news as it also means it is unlikely the government will step in soon and introduce further cooling measures.
